Here, you feel at home

The Family House is a warm, welcoming, and comforting place.

People come here to take a breather, connect, and recharge. A rich and varied program is offered to families. In the community space, parents chat while children play.

In this large space dedicated to families, support workers are on site and ready to listen. They encourage participants to find solutions to improve their quality of life. They can identify their specific needs, help them, or guide them toward more specialized resources.

Goals

  • Break families’ isolation
  • Support and equip parents in their parenting role
  • Strengthen the bond between parents and their children
  • Be a gateway to other resources
  • Support parents in their personal and parenting journey
  • Help participants find solutions related to their budget, family challenges, or relationships with their children

Program

Each year, the Family House organizes close to a hundred activities for families and parents.

In addition, art, cooking, sports, and cultural workshops are offered to the whole family. Parents can also take part in workshops on parenting, education, and child development.

Parents registered for activities can access free childcare for their children aged 0 to 5.
